ஸ்ரீ மாரியம்மன் ஆலயத்தில் 10 தினங்கள் விசேஷ அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்பட்டு சாயரட்சை பூஜைக்கு பிறகு விசேஷ பூஜை செய்து தினந்தோறும் 10 பாடல்கள் அபிராமி அந்தாதியை பாராயணம் செய்து ஆனி உத்திர கடைசி நாள் அன்று ஸ்ரீ மாரியம்மனுக்கு ப்ரகார உற்சலம் நடைபெறும்.பக்தர்களுக்கு அமாவாசை போன்ற இருளை நீக்கி பௌர்ணமியை போன்ற ஒளி மயமான நல்வாழ்வு பெற செய்ய கூடிய சிறப்பு பூஜை.

At Sri Mariamman Temple, special Abhishegam as well as special Poojai (worship) following Sayaraksha Poojai (Evening worship), are conducted for ten days. Ten hymns from the Abhirami Andhadhi recited each day. On the concluding day of Aani Uthiram, Sri Mariamman is taken on a procession around the temple. This is a special worship that helps devotees overcome negativities as dark such as the new moon and bless them with a life as radiant as the full moon.
