ஸகஸ்ர + நாம + அர்ச்சனை - ஆயிரம் திரு நாமங்களால் (பெயர்களால்) இறைவனை போற்றி அர்ச்சனை செய்து பின் சிறப்பு நைவேத்ய பிரசாதத்துடன் பூஜையை நிறைவு செய்து பிரசாதம் வழங்குவார்கள். இந்த பூஜையை பிறந்த நாள் திருமண நாள் முதலிய சுப நாட்களிலும் மனதில் எண்ணிய காரியங்கள் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டியும் செய்வார்கள். ஸ்ரீ விநாயகர் முதல் கோயிலில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு தெய்வத்திற்கும் பக்கதர்கள் சகஸ்ரநாம் பூஜையை செய்யலாம்.
